We Do Breweries!

In 2005 W.H.Demmons, Inc. was contracted by Shipyard Brewing Company of Portland, Maine www.shipyard.com to help with their most recent expansion. We have worked with Shipyard and other breweries in Maine since 1987. In this most recent project we are handling the IAQ (Indoor Air Quality), cooling, and refrigeration or process cooling of their products. Like all projects we do at W.H. Demmons, Inc. quality is extremely important, but it does not stop there. We are also known for installing energy efficiency systems, and reliable systems. It is also important that we continue to improve!

This is another design/ build/ maintain project for us.
We start with the understanding of our customer's needs.
We sell the concept using our expertise and sales engineers.
We design the project using our in-house engineering department.
We install the new system with our construction division.
We review the installation with our service department, and then we work hard with our customer to maintain it.

Shipyard, Fan Coil to cool brewing area. This is a new installation in 2006. Notice that the condensate line is only 3/4''. In this environment it should be increased to 1'' to avoid frequent plugging.

Shipyard, new brewing area. This is a new ERV to bring in ventilation air. Filters need to be added to the bottom of the exhaust air duct and labeled.		Shipyard, this is one of the new chillers that we have just installed in 2006.

Shipyard, this is how we are hanging the new chilled water pipe which is to be insulated. Notice the care to insure that insulation can run continuously to prevent condensation and save energy.
