and Design of HVAC & Plumbing Systems used in commercial industrial and
institutional buildings with special emphasis on energy efficient
systems. Comfort heating & cooling applications, indoor air quality, VAV
laboratory design, clean rooms and industrial ventilation systems.
System designs featuring; high efficiency condensing boilers, air-to-air
energy recovery, VAV supply & exhaust systems, geothermal heat pumps and
DDC controls.

Experience
Over 25 years in the HVAC industry
which began working with consulting engineering firms in Maine
including Neill & Gunter, Enterprise Engineering and The Ames Corp.
Approximately 1/3 of this time was spent working as a facility
engineer working for both University of Southern Maine and the
University of Maine, including a short period of time as
Superintendent of Maintenance at USM. In 1986, Curt founded HVAC
Consulting Engineering Inc. which provided high quality engineering
for a wide range of clients throughout the Northeast. Curt also spent
two years as the State of Maine Energy Engineer, providing energy
audits for business and industry throughout Maine.

Bullard Haven Tech., Bridgeport, CT, Certificate in Architectural Drafting, 1963-1967
Licenses
& Qualifications
Registered Professional Engineer, State of Maine, New Hampshire,
Connecticut, and Vermont
LEED
Accredited Professional -2004 Successfully completed the LEED
Training Workshop. Since that time Curt has been involved in many
successful LEED projects, two of the most noted are: Colby College
Alumni Center and the Community Education Center at USM.
